EmSculpt

What is EmSculpt?

EmSculpt builds off the legacy of its predecessor, EmSculpt, by simultaneously emitting both radiofrequency and high-intensity electromagnetic energies.

The end result is more fat reduction and muscle growth than any single gold-standard product for less time and less money.

Best of all, EmSculpt has broad appeal as it can treat patients up to BMI 35!

How Does EmSculpt Work?

EmSculpt is based on an applicator simultaneously emitting synchronized RF and HIFEM+ energies.

Due to the radiofrequency heating, the muscle temperature quickly rises by several degrees. This prepares muscles for exposure to stress, similar to what a warm up activity does before any workout. In less than 4 minutes, the temperature in subcutaneous fat reaches levels that cause apoptosis, i.e. fat cells are permanently damaged and slowly removed from the body. Clinical studies showed on average a 30% reduction in subcutaneous fat.*

Bypassing the brain limitations, HIFEM+ energy contracts the muscle fibers in the area at intensities that are not achievable during voluntary workout. Extreme stress forces the muscle to adapt resulting in an increase in the number and growth of muscle fibers and cells. Clinical studies showed on average a 25% growth in muscle volume.*

What is EmSculpt?
EmSculpt is a revolutionary non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to simultaneously reduce fat and build muscle. It is a safe and FDA-approved procedure that has gained popularity for its effectiveness in improving body shape and tone.
How does EmSculpt work?
EmSculpt utilizes HIFEM technology to induce intense muscle contractions in the targeted area. These contractions are more powerful and rapid than what can be achieved through voluntary muscle action. The repeated contractions lead to increased muscle fiber growth, while also causing metabolic reactions that gradually eliminate fat cells in the treated area.
Which areas of the body can be treated with EmSculpt?
EmSculpt is primarily used to target the abdomen and buttocks, helping to sculpt and define the muscles in these areas. It can also be used to address stubborn fat pockets in the abdomen and improve overall body contouring. However, new developments in technology may allow for treatment of additional areas in the future.
Who is a suitable candidate for EmSculpt?
EmSculpt is ideal for individuals who are close to their desired weight but struggle with localized pockets of fat and lack muscle tone. It is not intended as a weight-loss solution. The best candidates for EmSculpt are those who maintain a healthy lifestyle but desire additional muscle definition and fat reduction.
Is EmSculpt painful?
While the treatment is generally comfortable, you may experience a sensation of intense muscle contractions during the session. These contractions are not typically painful, but they might feel unusual or intense at first. Most individuals find the procedure tolerable, and any discomfort usually subsides quickly after the session.
How long does an EmSculpt session take?
A typical EmSculpt session lasts approximately 30 minutes. The treatment time may vary depending on the targeted area and the specific treatment plan determined by your healthcare provider.
How many EmSculpt sessions are required?
For optimal results, a series of four to six treatment sessions, spaced a few days apart, is usually recommended. However, the exact number of sessions required may vary depending on individual goals and the advice of your healthcare provider.
What can I expect after an EmSculpt treatment?
Following an EmSculpt session, you may experience some muscle soreness, similar to the feeling after an intense workout. This is a normal response and is typically temporary. Most individuals can resume their regular activities immediately after treatment, with no downtime required.
When will I see results from EmSculpt?
Many patients begin to see improvements in muscle tone and reduced fat deposits within a few weeks of starting their EmSculpt treatment. Optimal results are usually visible around two to three months after the last session, as the body continues to build muscle and eliminate fat.
Are the results of EmSculpt permanent?
The results of EmSculpt can be long-lasting, especially when combined with a healthy lifestyle. However, it’s important to maintain a balanced diet and regular.
